Several years ago, deep in the heart of the Alps, two teammates and life time members of the Austrian lumber industry began thinking about creating a baseball bat company. Over time the idea grew, until finally, in the fall of 2018, using a manual lathe out in the garage, the first Moon Bat was manufactured.  At that moment, moon bats became a reality.

Today, Moon Bats is dedicated to quality and detail, ensuring ours is the best bat available for European ballplayers. For this reason, and after exhaustive research, we at Moon Bats have chosen European Birch as our mainstay. With the flexibility of ash and the hardness of maple, birch optimizes both performance and durability. 

Recently, there has been an increase in the use of birch bats in top leagues around the world, including Major League Baseball as more professional players choose to make the switch every year. 

After months in the wood shop, consisting of long days and longer nights, Moon Bats is proud to present its first three models: the Pandora, the Hydra, and the Titania. Moon Bats is confident that in these three unique but well rounded models players of all sizes and ages will be able to select the bat that best fits each individual.
